    You do not need a full foundation for a steel building. However, you will need a concrete pier under all of the structural steel. The size of the piers vary depending on the size of the building.

  • What kind of drawings come with a building package?

  • Do I need an engineer stamp for my project?

    If you are inside the city limits, you will likely need an engineer stamp. Some counties require an engineer stamp as well. Check your local codes or ask your design expert.

  • Are there any steel erectors that you recommend?

    Yes. We have partnered with several trusted and experienced erectors throughout the state of Missouri. For build sites outside of Missouri, we’d be happy to assist you in finding qualified erector.

  • Do you unload the building for me?

    Show Me Steel Buildings does not unload building materials because most often erectors want to stage the materials for work flow during the erection process.

  • How long does it usually take to erect a building?

    Most of the time, erecting a building goes very quick. Depending on the size of the building and favorable weather conditions, most buildings can go up as quickly as 1-2 weeks.
